Di Gu Pi addresses the tonification of Kidney Yin and Qi and the elimination of Wind-Damp. It is designed for the Kidney Yin and Qi Deficiency bony bi syndrome.
Western Medical Indications:
Arthritis
Chronic joint pain
Degenerative joint disease (DJD)
Hip dysplasia
Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD)
Rheumatism
TCVM Indications:
Chronic bony bi-syndrome due to Kidney Yin and Qi Deficiency
Dry skin/haircoat
Prefers coldness
Stiffness worsens with Heat conditions
Pulse: Thready and weak
Tongue: Red and dry
Contraindications:
None
Warning:
Stop administration immediately if the patient develops diarrhea or vomiting.
Dosage for Horse:
15 g twice daily as top dressing on feed
Dosage for Dog/Cat:
0.5 g per 10 to 20 lb body weight twice daily
Directions:
Use as needed up to 6 months
