Mammary tumor was first documented in the book zhu bing yuan hou zhong lun (General Treatise on Etiology and Symptomology of Disease) written by Dr. Chao Yuan-Fang in 610. Liver Qi stagnation with Blood Stasis is the major basis of mammary cancer. The key factor is the Liver Qi Stagnation which can be caused by emotional stress.
